1. Introduction

This Privacy Policy explains how Rounds & Commands ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and shares your personal information when you use our application.

2. Data We Collect

  • Account Information: If you register, we collect your email address, name, and optional avatar (photo, emoji or initial) to manage your user account. See section 4 for when this becomes visible to other people on Hub.
  • Training Data: Your custom training templates, sequence setups, and statistics are stored locally on your device and synchronized with our servers if you are logged in.
  • Audio & Voice Data: If you record custom voice commands, these audio blobs are stored locally (using IndexedDB/LocalStorage) and uploaded to our secure servers to ensure synchronization across your devices.
  • Technical session information: When you sign in, we store a limited technical record with that login session: platform and operating-system family, whether the app runs as a native Capacitor app, PWA, or browser, app and build versions, and development/production build mode. We do not store your device model, full browser user-agent, IP address, locale, or a persistent device identifier for this purpose. This record is used only to diagnose compatibility and support issues, is visible only to authorised administrators, and expires with the session (at most 30 days) or when the account is deleted.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use the collected data to provide the essential functions of the app, synchronize your workouts and audio recordings across devices, verify your identity during login, ensure smooth operation, and diagnose version or platform-specific support issues. We do not sell or share your personal data with third-party advertisers.

4. Hub — Public Coach and Member Profiles

Hub (hub.roundscommands.com) is a separate, public part of the product. The moment you comment on something there, publish a training or voice pack, or turn on a coach/member profile page (a URL of the form hub.roundscommands.com/c/handle or /u/handle), anyone on the internet — signed in or not — can see your display name, handle, bio, links, and avatar, including an uploaded photo if you have one (elsewhere in the app, that same photo stays visible only to you — Hub is the one place it's shown publicly, because you've chosen to put yourself in front of other visitors there). Comments, published listings, and profile visibility can each be reversed independently: delete a comment, unpublish or delete a listing, or turn a profile private/delete it, at any time from the Hub Account/Studio pages — doing all three removes your avatar from Hub's public pages again. Changing your handle is limited to once every 30 days; a former handle keeps resolving to your current profile afterwards so existing links don't break.

5. Children and Parental Consent

Children aged 6–12 may use the app only through a parent or legal guardian's account and after the adult has verified the account password and given explicit consent. The consent covers cloud synchronization, fitness activity data, optional voice recordings, optional camera and QR features, sharing, and in-app purchases controlled by the device's parental controls. The parent can withdraw consent from the app and can request access to or deletion of the account data at any time. We do not show personalized advertising or sell children's data. Child accounts cannot publish, comment, or create a public profile on Hub.

6. Data Deletion (GDPR Rights)

You have the absolute right to access, rectify, or delete your personal data. You can delete all your sync data and delete your account permanently at any time via the User Profile page > Delete Account option in the app. This action will immediately and irreversibly delete all your emails, credentials, and synchronized training details from our databases.

7. Cookies and Local Storage

We use browser local storage and IndexedDB to keep you logged in and cache your custom workouts and recorded sounds. These are strictly functional and necessary for the app to work offline (PWA mode).

Child access and optional device permissions

The app is intended for users aged 6 and older. Its neutral age screen offers 6–8, 9–12, and 13+ groups. For a child aged 6–12, a parent or legal guardian creates a separate child profile after re-entering the parent-account password and giving explicit consent. The child’s trainings and synchronized data are kept separate from the adult’s data.

The microphone and camera are optional. The app can be installed and used for core training without them. A system permission is requested only when the user starts the relevant feature; missing hardware or denying permission disables only voice recording, QR scanning, or the flashlight.

A voice recording is created only when the user deliberately starts recording. It is stored locally and, for a signed-in account, may be synchronized with our servers. It can be deleted. We do not sell it or disclose it to other users unless the account owner deliberately uses the sharing feature.

A parent can withdraw consent in the app. To correct the selected age group, the parent withdraws consent and completes the neutral age selection again. The device's parental controls separately govern installation, system permissions, and purchase approval; consent in Rounds & Commands does not bypass those controls.
